I'm sure you'd be able to value these based on replies you got in previous threads.

    VAMs are varieties, not errors

Waiting to see if you'll spend some time trying to learn something instead of asking members to do all your research.

You really should learn to use the information that has been provided to you. You seem to want everyone else to do your footwork for you. You post common coins that you can find answer for yourself. Knowledge is learned, not given!

@Oldhoopster Man what's with y'all? Relax. I barely have time to do anything. I didn't expect any one to do my footwork or research. I was asking anyone who has the knowledge already and could see anything special right off the bat.

  • @TomB I'm not being a pest. THATS WHAT FORUMS ARE FOR!!!!! Wow. This kinda is just borderline harassment now

You might want to re-read those two sentences.

Maybe someone else can do the research faster than you can. That doesn't mean that they should bother to do it for you, when you can't be bothered to do it yourself.

    @TomB I'm not being a pest.

    Yes, you are

    THATS WHAT FORUMS ARE FOR!!!!!

No, that's not what forums are for. Maybe some forums are for that. This one isn't.

This forum is hosted by PCGS. If you don't have time for research, I recommend that you ask our host to help you. That IS what PCGS is business for. I'm sure they would be happy to perform that research for you -- at their standard rate of about $50 per coin for variety attribution.

@jonathanb they have an option to ask questions... Dude. So should I not ask anyone's opinion on grades?

In order to get ahead in this hobby and build a high quality collection of your own, you will need to put in effort. Effort to learn. About prices, about grades, what is a "good" coin and what isn't, etc. As others have said. Buy a Red Book. It is an excellent starting point and basically a must-have book for any coin collector. Just about any coin shop should sell the latest Red Book. I believe one member on here a couple threads ago DMed you and generously offered to send you a free copy. The pricing info in it is not perfectly accurate, but it will give you an idea of which dates are more valuable than others. In addition, it will include info on how to grade each coin type, as well as what dates and major varieties are in each series.

Please. The constant new threads asking us to do all of the work for you are really getting annoying.

I guess the OP never heard the phrase “buy the book first”. About as sound advice as I have ever heard. Learned that a long time ago when I was a kid and that advice has served me well.👌😎

I think the saying is "Why buy the book when you can milk the cow?" Or something like that.

That is correct. You should not ask anyone to do things that you refuse to do for yourself.

If you make a reasonable effort to suggest an accurate grade in the first place, I think you'll find others a lot more willing to say if they agree with you.

😂🤣That sounds about right for this day and age. I guess that’s what’s being taught nowadays.👍
